The Institute for Language Education offers comprehensive English language education (ESL), holistic support and services to a range of learners to equip them with the skills needed for academic study, career success and active community involvement. 

 

Programs offered by ILE include: Intensive English Program (in-person and virtual) aimed at teaching and supporting non-native English speakers; Undergraduate Language Studies, an English language pathway program for English language learner students accepted to SNHU; Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MA-TESOL) that prepares educators and other professionals to teach ESL/ESOL to a range of learners; and World Languages and Culture Minor that can be added to a SNHU degree program and immerse students in critical language and culture studies that will enrich their learning and deepen their career skills.
