Experience the authentic Italian lifestyle while enjoying beautiful Sicilian weather without breaking the bank. The summer program at Syracuse Academy (SYAC) will allow you to immerse yourself in traditional Italian culture while making the most of your study abroad experience, meeting local Italian students, and speaking Italian. Syracuse (Siracusa in Italian) is a stunning 2,700-year-old seaside city on the southeastern coast of the island of Sicily. Enjoy the Mediterranean sunshine as you explore the labyrinth in narrow streets of the historical center and admire the medieval castle that overlooks the natural harbor. The centrally located campus provides an ideal study environment with modern facilities in a historic villa surrounded by two acres of lush Mediterranean botanical gardens.
