The School of International Engagement is committed to offering programs and experiences that expose students and community members to diverse ideas and global experiential learning. To fulfill this commitment, SIE creates opportunities for students to engage in immersive education experiences abroad at a wide range of locations through learning that integrates with their programs of study, will enrich their educational outlook, and prepare them for an interconnected world and foster the adaptable and unfixed mindsets needed for long-term success and progress. From traditional study abroad at one of over 17 partner institutions worldwide to course-embedded short-term trips and virtual international exchange, learners can choose from a variety of experiences that suit their degree of study and time commitments. The School aims to open access for international experience for all learners through programming of varying lengths and locations, assistance with finding funding, and advisement on how international experiences complement and transform academic study and career preparedness.
